GREEN SCREEN RESEARCH

I researched green screening because it would help me later on with my evaluation. Green screening is a process in both filming and photography that allows to change a solid green background into the background that you choose.

How to use a green screen: 

• The room must be evenly lit, to ensure there are no shadows on the green screen
• Lights should be set to approximately 45° angle from the screen
• The light needs to be shining on a blue or green background
• The actor(s) then stand in front and they film the scene

Once the green screen has been filmed then the background needs to be put in. This is done using the software’s such a Final cut pro. Below you can see an example of the background being put in,  the have used green screening to there chosen background in themselves. (The background they have put in has created the look the he is flying through cloud)
